After installing network-manager-pptp-gnome, vpn does not work.
One need to reboot for it to start working.

GNOME configuration database syste
This is a D-Bus error. Looks like dbus-daemon did not pick up the newly
installed D-Bus policy file. It should do that automatically via
inotify. Apparently, it didn't do that in your case.
That said, nowadays, dbus also uses a dpkg file trigger to automatically
trigger a dbus config reload.
Your bug should therefor be fixed.
