For what it's worth, lxpolkit doesn't start either with a popup saying:

“No session for pid <foo>”.

So it looks more like an issue with the binding between PIDs and the session,
maybe in logind.

I understand you'd prefer not having too many bugs in your packages and I'm
open to other suggestions, but just closing it sounds wrong to me because it
does affect network-manager.

Keeping it open at least means other people experiencing it can see the
investigation and provide help.
