I had the same error when changed from schroot to unshare!!!
I don't have any schroot configuration. I directly started with unshare.
I just set
$run_autopkgtest = 1;
in config.pl
But I can change that for your package, to get a successful build.
As far as it concerns w-scan-cpp I have not forked the repo so a merge request
would be tricky right now.
Now I see that I only have Reporter role meaning that I can not push the new
release. I could push the changes to the main repo if you could give me access.
Since it is in the Salsa Debian Team where I am only a member and not an
admin I can't give you any rights. That's why I was talking about a
merge request.
