Hmm, ok. A small reason for doing it is, that there are some internal 32-bit dependencies in Wine. E.g. the mount manager does not work with wine64 only (noted in https://bugs.debian.org/793879). And so on, this pops up every now and then. However, as long as we don't have WoW64, this might cause more trouble than it solves. So indeed probably better leave it (and I'll let my patch rot locally).
