hello,
when running xfce4-terinal under gnome, the terminal font looks particularly
pretty. however, when running xfce4-terminal under xfce, the font does
not look quite so good.
this is a request for xfce4-terminal to use the same pretty font when using
either gnome or xfce as the desktop environment. since this is already the
default behavior under gnome, hopefully this will be an easy bug to address.
thanks for all the hard work. xfce is definately my favorite desktop
environment.

It depends on your screen. Full hinting behaves better on LCD screens,
but maybe not on all, and not on CRT screens. So there is no real good
default for everybody. (for example here Full hinting is way better than
others).
I don't think this is a bug in any way, as it's only a default setting
which is really easy to change.
