Hi, I'd like to contribute to the translation to Spanish of the packages that are part of the Xfce Desktop Environment but I've got some questions. I don't know if help is really needed and in case it's welcome I'm not sure on which project it's more needed: Debian package itself or upstream? I, as a Debian user, would like to contribute to the Debian Xfce packages, but I'm not sure if it's better to help upstream.
I decided to do so because I started using this package not long ago and found that there are some missing translations for Spanish. I recently convinced my parents to start using Debian/GNU Linux with Xfce in a legacy computer which only ran Windows 98. They seem pretty happy with the ease of use of Xfce, but some dialogs and menus are confusing to them because they appear in English and they can't understand them. I'd like to see that these get translated, so I'm willing to participate. Thank you and keep up the good work.
