Dear All, I am using a boot-cd version of debian linux with xfce environment. In my case i need to access and write on to my philips external hdd with ntfs format through linux. In fact the linux version i am using is seeing my external hdd but it seems that it cannot access it and an error msg "permission denied" came out. When i opened the "gparted" application i saw a "key" icon on the /dev/sdb which is my external usb hdd. I am not supposed to be an expert for linux systems so, is there someone who can help me on this?
Thanks, Enver ****************************************** Enver Tughan Atasever Duravit Turkey Tuzla Deri Sanayi 10. yol Turkey-81700 Istanbul fon +90 216 458 51 51 fax +90 216 458 51 95 internet http://www.duravit.com mailto:[email protected] ******************************************
