Ok, well if you want to step up and maintain them in Debian then join
the project on alioth and we'll let you commit to it and upload for you.
If this is what it takes and if I can get a little help doing it right, then this is ok with me. I have done some of the work already, but I don't know exactly what steps I need to take to make this happened.

I have joined Xfce on alioth ...

I like to maintain the XFC debian packages, but I hope to have my main focus on XFC it self as this is my main concern.
If we've got any comments we can go back and forwards with you to
resolve them.
Swell, then I may end up learning doing it properly in the end :-)
Do you maintain this upstream?
I am not sure what you mean by this, but I have a "debian" directory inside in my svn trunk containing the needed files for my debian packages.
Let us know if you have any issues.
Just, how to get started :-)
