Hi,

The problem still exists in recent versions of exo-utils, despite an upstream patch has been included since version 3.100-1. Let me know if more info are needed.

Definitely. I wasn't able to reproduce this bug since it was marked as
fixed. So I don't think it's the same bug. Could you tell us exactly
what happens?

Well, I get exactly what is described in Xfce Bug 2968 by the
submitter:
- a pop-up window appears when I press the eject button on the cd-drive:
Failed to eject
"/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_DVD__RW_DW_Q58A".
Given device
"/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_DVD__RW_DW_Q58A" is not a
volume or drive.
- same result with the command:
exo-eject -e -h /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_DVD__RW_DW_Q58A
- exo-eject -e -d /dev/sr0 works
- outputs from lshal -m, dbus-monitor --system and dbus-monitor are also
similar.

What else can I try ?
