xfmedia is known to not be stable at all. You might want to move your config out of the way (like .config/xfmedia iirc) and retry. I'm not sure what may have broke it this time, it would be easier with a backtrace, but basically xfmedia is not really maintained upstream and bit too crashy for us to take care.
