When I enable composite in the window manager tweaks everything seems to run
slow. Specially desktop switching (both with keyboard and mouse) as well as
window switching with Alt-Tab. It seems that Xorg takes most of the CPU. I am
using the NV driver with no xorg.conf file (using built-in configuration).
If I disable composite everything seems to work fine.

In fact, the slowness was caused by a weird interactions between some
drivers and xfce4-terminal. That xfce4-terminal part was fixed in 0.4.0.
