Package: xfwm4
Version: 4.4.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

as requested on IRC, opening a bugreport. To reproduce it, open gitk.
Then switch to another application, say Emacs, on the same desktop. Now,
hold the Alt key, press Tab once, gitk gets highlighted, and then Tab a
second time, so that a third application is finally selected. Release
Alt. At the time gitk gets highlighted in the window selector, its item
in the window list (in the panel) starts blinking, as if a urgent hint
were received.

Depending on the applications I use on the same desktop (usually only
one, which explains I reproduce it mainly with gitk, which I open in
complement of a terminal and $EDITOR), it's possible to also reproduce
it with e.g. gnome-terminal or xfce-terminal (or whatever this
application is called ;-)).

A videoshot illustrating this is available for quite some time on:
  http://alioth.debian.org/~kibi-guest/trash/focus.ogg

FWIW, this problem has been there for some weeks.

Thanks.

Cheers,

Closing since it /seems/ to be fixed now.
