Package: thunar
Version: 1.0.2-1+b1
Severity: normal

I have a SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 player which acts a USB storage device.
Formerly it would always show up in Thunar's side pane as "Sansa e260"
(with an MP3 player icon) and would mount as "/media/Sansa e260" when I
clicked on it. Recently I had a friend's player of the same model
plugged in and then plugged mine in also. My friend's showed up as
"Sansa e260" and mounted as "/media/Sansa e260". Mine, however showed
up as "ȱ?B5D1AQ" and mounted as "/media/ȱ?B5D1AQ". Since then,
whenever I plug mine in (alone), it shows up and mounts under that same
gibberish name. I have tried rebooting and clearing ~/.config/Thunar,
to no avail.

lshal shows the correct name for the device:
