Severity: grave
Justification: causes serious data loss
If the dbus service is restarted while an XFCE session is running,
the session terminates immediately without warning taking all running
X applications with it. I have filed this bug against xfce4-session
since this is the most likely XFCE component, but it might possibly be
a different package.
I classed this as "grave" because it results in complete, immediate,
and unrecoverable loss of all data the user had unsaved at the point
in time dbus restarted.
The restarting of a system service such as dbus should be something
that XFCE can cope with. Certainly, immediately aborting is entirely
inappropriate.
