gnome-keyring-deamon is starting up on login despite the fact that I do not
have gnome stuff to start and the /e/x/a/gnome-keyring-*.desktop has
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Unity;
This is a bug. It has a workaround (editing the config files), but it would be
better if it was handle properly.

What exactly makes you feel that way? gvfs is *recommender* by thunar,
not mandatory. And gvfs only depends on libgnome-keyring, not on the
daemon.

I'm think you're confused about many things, so I advise you to think a
bit more of your setup and what you need/want before reporting a bug, so
we get a bug report which actually makes sense and on which we can work.
