Package: xfce4-goodies
Severity: normal
The dependency should be dropped until squeeze (which is rather buggy itself)
gets a rewrite upstream in order to get rid of the highly unwanted dependency
on totally broken and dead hal components (via the legacy libthunar-vfs
package).
I realize this is a convenience meta-package but even such packages should not
force deprecated broken stuff on users, otherwise it is not really so much
convenient any more. :)

The metapackage is here to provide applications to users which might not
already know them. It's merely an indication of the whole Xfce desktop
environment. Nobody forces you to use it. Although they might be buggy,
they're still useful, so I don't see a need to remove it from the
metapackage. After all, nobody forces you to use it. And if you don't
even want it on your system, remove xfce4-goodies metapackage, it
doesn't provide anything else than dependencies anyway.
