Package: xfce4-settings
Version: 4.6.1-2
Severity: normal

The keyboard on my Asus Eee PC 1000H has Spanish layout. Xfce4 came
preconfigured to "us" layout, so I changed it to Spanish "es" layout. However,
after a system restart it turns back to "us" layout, even if "es" is the only
configured option. It is not enough to reselect "es": I have to add a new
layout (or delete it) and then set layout "es" for the system to pick up the
"es" layout again.
So, after every restart I have to: go to xfce4-settings, add or remove a
layout, and then select "es" layout. Annoying.
xfce4-keyboard-settings correctly reports the layout as "es" or "es,us" or
whatever. It is just not applied until some layout is modified. I am guessing
it is a problem with xfce4-settings, but it might be somewhere else.
