http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=706425 describes an unfortunate bug in xfce4-session that causes unexpected logouts and is fixed by a tiny patch found in 4.8.3-4. Would it be possible to bring the next point release of wheezy up to that version of xfce4-session from 4.8.3-3 as it is now? Unfortunately, a partial upgrade to the version from jessie drags the whole 4.10 xfce4 along with it, which seems overkill for applying such a tiny fix.
