Package: lightdm
Version: 1.10.1-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

lightdm is the one and only remaining package on my system depending on
consolekit.
As all the session applications do not need consolekit anymore (they are happy
to use
systemd-logind instead), there's no point in lightdm setting up consolekit
sessions.
It also seems that lightdm itself can work fine without consolekit, as the
Ubuntu
lightdm package does not have this dependency anymore.

Therefore, I would appreciate if you could relax the consolekit dependency to a
"Recommands: consolekit", or to something like "Depends: consolekit |
libpam-systemd".

Kind regards
Ralf
