Package: xfce4-panel Version: 4.10.1-1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Hello,
The "Switch User" option of the "Action Buttons" plugin assumes[0] that if gdmflexiserver is installed, then GDM is your current dm and will try to use that program to switch users. In my case, I've installed gdm3 but I'm actually using lightdm. So, when I try to switch users, xfce will complain with the following message: | Unable to start new display: | GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name | org.gnome.DisplayManager was not provided by any .service files The correct way of doing this in this case is, I think, that "Switch User" calls "dm-tool switch-to-greeter" instead of "gdmflexiserver".
