Package: xfce4-power-manager
Version: 1.2
I'm running Debian Jessie on an Acer Aspire v5 131 laptop.
A few problems all seem to point to the power-manager.
1. I change the power manager settings to "do nothing" when closing
the laptop lip but it always goes to suspend.
2. The battery level in the notification area doesn't work at all. It
wrongly reports the level and also doesn't correctly report when the
power cord is in.
3. The screen brightness (FN+arrow key) don't work.
Remedy: I installed "experimental" version 1.3 and it worked nicely.
Unfortunately I didn't notice it was incompatibile with the "testing"
version of orage and so a lot of dependencies were removed (including
the xfce4 desktop).
