I fear this is not the only bug here. After I did my mouseclick I have sometimes two overlaying screens. One with the full resolution of the attached display 1280x1024 and within, in the top, left corner a smaller screen with the resolution of 1024x768 which is the resolution of my 12"-thinkpad. When I use i3 as a window-manager, I can use only this smaller screen, while the mouse can mover over the whole display. If I use awesome as wm there is no limitation but e.g the notification-widget of icedove appears exactly on the bottom, right corner of the smaller screen, which is on 1280x1024 near the middle of the screen. Which part of the system is now in charge for recognition of the screen-resolution?
