This would not solve the real problem. The fact is that with the default theme, different sizes are available, but lightdm-gtk-greeter always choose a small one. FYI, with gtk3-icon-browser from the gtk-3-examples package, I can see that the Symbolic/Other icons are available in the following sizes: 16x16 24x24 32x32 48x48 64x64 If gtk3-icon-browser can select the size in the current theme, why can't lightdm-gtk-greeter do this?
