Package: xfce4-sensors-plugin Version: 1.2.5-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The xfce sensors plugin crashes and leaves the panel when hard disk monitoring is enabled on Jessie. In order to use hard disk monitoring, I obviously had to setuid hddtemp. I know the setuid hddtemp issue has been corrected in the newer version, but I have reasons not to update, and I don't know if that would fix the problem. I can post a log (that doesn't tell much) if you like, and can give the information about the hard disks I'm using. Without hard disk sensors displaying, it works fine. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.2 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages xfce4-sensors-plugin depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.14.0-1 ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u1 ii libcairo2 1.14.0-2.1 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-6.3 ii libfreetype6 2.5.2-3 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+deb8u2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.1-1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.25-3 ii libnotify4 0.7.6-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libpangoft2-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libsensors4 1:3.3.5-2 ii libxfce4ui-1-0 4.10.0-6 ii libxfce4util6 4.10.1-2 ii xfce4-panel 4.10.1-1 Versions of packages xfce4-sensors-plugin recommends: ii hddtemp 0.3-beta15-52 ii lm-sensors 1:3.3.5-2 Versions of packages xfce4-sensors-plugin suggests: pn xsensors <none> -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ Pkg-xfce-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-xfce-devel
