Package: xfwm4 Version: 4.12.3-1 Severity: important Last night I upgraded my notebook from Jessie to testing, for testing purposes. \ It's hard to describe, but there is a grey border that runs across the screen, and it \ appears to be a window border of some kind. In the xfce settings, under the window manager \ options, I can change the theme from default to any of the others, and this border changes \ to reflect the selected theme. Without measuring, it appears about 4/5 of the way down the screen. \ This wasn't a problem in Jessie, and I was using kernel 4.3 from backports then, and using the \ default testing kernel 4.3 now. So I do not think it's a problem with the kernel. The fact that \ I can manipulate the border in the xfce window manager settings is what makes me thing this is \ a relevant bug. It also does not appear in the BIOS, or grub menu, so it cannot be hardware \ related.
The hardware is a Lenovo T550, using the Broadwell i7 5600U processor + graphics. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages xfwm4 depends on: ii libc6 2.21-6 ii libcairo2 1.14.6-1 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.102-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.32.3-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.46.2-3 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.29-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.38.1-1 ii libstartup-notification0 0.12-4 ii libwnck22 2.30.7-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.3-1 ii libxcomposite1 1:0.4.4-1 ii libxdamage1 1:1.1.4-2+b1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1 ii libxfce4ui-1-0 4.12.1-2 ii libxfce4util7 4.12.1-2 ii libxfconf-0-2 4.12.0-2+b1 ii libxfixes3 1:5.0.1-2+b2 ii libxrandr2 2:1.5.0-1 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.9-2 Versions of packages xfwm4 recommends: ii librsvg2-common 2.40.11-2 Versions of packages xfwm4 suggests: ii xfce4 4.12.2 pn xfwm4-themes <none> -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ Pkg-xfce-devel mailing list Pkg-xfce-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-xfce-devel
