Package: xfwm4

Version: 4.12.3-1

Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

There is a serious bug in previous versions of xfwm4, the XFCE4
window manager, which has the result that clicking on the menu
bar to move a window of a KDE app causes the window manager to
hang forever, requiring the user to kill the X session or reboot.
This has been reported numerous times (see the links below).

The XFCE4 creator, Olivier Fourdan, committed a patch to fix this
problem on 2015-05-18. See

  http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfwm4/commit/?id=71d37e11

However this commit does not seem to be in any Debian xfwm4
package, including testing and unstable.
