Dear Maintainer,
Thunar is freezing when the content of a folder that is being displayed in a
Thunar window is being updated rapidly, e.g. while compiling software within
that folder. If Thunar is running in daemon mode, all of its windows will
freeze, otherwise only the windows that are displaying the folder in question.
Steps to reproduce:
1. use "apt-get source thunar" to download and extract Thunar's source package
2. navigate into the resulting "thunar-1.6.11" directory that contains the
source
3. keep the Thunar window open and open up a terminal within that directory
4. use "debuild -us -uc" to rebuild the Thunar package
Expected outcome:
The Thunar window should show the correct content of the "thunar-1.6.11" folder
and react correctly to user input.
Actual outcome:
After a few view updates (files getting created rearranged in the folder)
during the "debuild" process, the Thunar window will freeze eventually. It
stops updating the view and becomes totally unresponsive, not reacting to any
user input. If Thunar was running in daemon mode all Thunar windows are frozen
and Thunar needs to be killed.
