The new 9p server is almost ready. Libstyx had some limitations to be used in devwsys (it lacked support for out-of-order replies, for example), so some work has been put into improving it. The modified library has been renamed to libninep. I hope it can be useful to anybody who wants to write 9p servers in unix. The main difference with other implementations (libixp, spfs, ...) is that it tries to fit better with the rest of inferno(10) libraries. I hope to write a blog post with further explanations. Actually, the blog post is almost ready, but libninep is still a moving target so I will wait until things settle down a little.
I hope to commit all the changes in a few days. -- - yiyus || JGL . -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Plan 9 Google Summer of Code" group.
