And thanks for your answers. The new development version Micheal Olson has
released 2006.11.29 solves the problem. I just installed planner-latest; the
existing muse and remember worked fine with it. Now the publishing works fine,
and the layout is pretty. I do not observe the note head & body problem

changed the default iso-8859-1 encoding to utf-8 by adding the following lines
to ~/.xemacs/init.el
(setq muse-html-encoding-default "utf-8")
(setq muse-html-charset-default "utf-8")
John, I assume there is no need for a bug report, since Michael Olson has
fixed this now. BTW, I appreciate you guys' effort for maintaining wonderful
planner and muse.
And, finally Michael Welle is absolutely right about the missing diary
entries; all the problematic pages had empty * Diary sections. I've started to
add 'No entries' manually, then discovered planner-insert-diary family of
commands. Every plan & day page publishes ok now.
