Wow, this is great feedback. The zaurus and the n810 look amazing. I will have to do some extra work to buy one, but it is nice to know that what I had been envisioning does actually exist.

The slide out keyboard is really nice to see, and the size is in line with what I am thinking, something I can put in a bag easily or a pocket. > http://www.nseries.com > http://maemo.org > > I haven't tried it yet, but am looking to install emacs on my n800, > since you got me thinking about it. I saw that you can get an 8 gig memory card for it, but I was wondering if the 2gig internal is over and above the OS? > emacs port: > http://danielsz.freeshell.org/code/mine/emacs-for-maemo/ That is really nice to have. > I love my tablet. Please let me know how it goes, as I am very curious. The synching would be fairly easy, and something like unison would probably handle it, as planner just uses text files. If not a quick script using rsync would take care of business. Good luck and thanks to everyone for the feedback, I have been checking all the links out. Btw. is anyone using something paperbased? If so how do they use planner/muse with their system, and what sort of system do they have?
