I don't think anything is terribly broken, we're just in a bit of a rut
perhaps. Many of us have grown beyond the hobbyist; now it's just a job. We
need to bring back the fun factor a bit perhaps. I dunno.

I think if we want to liven things up we'll want to attract some new
members. That probably means reaching out to other UGs to see what might
interest them. A telecom 101 talk followed by an install-fest might be the
ticket for any Linux-types.

Another thing to do is reach out to the CTCA folks. They did a bit of
reaching out to us, and it might be fun to mix it up together again. We
should figure out a talk that might appeal to them an invite them to join
us. If nothing else they'll like to drink, and we're almost certain to find
a few topics to debate, since on some level I think they figure we're crazy
(perhaps not so much now).
