All in all , i think the problem could just solved if there was a strict comment to the translators, on the toolbar messages, that they should keep the size of the translation as small as possible... With small one-word text, the text along icon would be fine... With current situation in the original texts, some apps feel awkward already with too big messages in the toolbar even in their English gui.
