Kubuntu Application Launcher

I have used linux for a long time, Kubuntu specifically. On your 
Application Launcher I see no need for Favorites

or Applications near the search bar. Everybody I know who uses either 
Linux, Windows or Unix puts there

Favorites on the Task Bar. As for Applications, just click on one of the 
sub categories to see your downloaded

Apps. Also you can vertically resize application launcher, but no 
horizontal movement.
