If you (Plasma) have no intention of fixing something the bug (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=304510) should be marked as Resolved->WONTFIX. Leaving an open bug on something you have no intention of doing looks extremely bad to users, and worst you potentially completely waste a well meaning developers time fixing a bug.
