Dani From: "Max Rydahl Andersen" <[email protected]> To: "Eclipse platform general developers list." <[email protected]> Date: 18.06.2015 19:55 Subject: [platform-dev] Why must root projects in workspace have project name = folder name ? Sent by: [email protected] See $subject. This keeps coming back and hunt us once every 5-6 months. That wether you put projects in workspace or outside or nested in the workspace Eclipse will treat the name of the project differently. call a project `wonka` in a folder named `wonka-app` and it will not be called `wonka` if put in workspace/wonka-app, but it will be called 'wonka' if put in somewhereelse/wonka-app or workspace/examples/wonka-app. Why is this limitation there ? I tried searching in bugzilla but no real luck.
