The easiest way is to attach a truth widget to the camera and sphere, and read their pose information through libgazebo (Gazebo's shared memory interface). This means you would bypass player to get the truth data.

I'm using gazebo 0.6 and player 2.0.1. I need to know how to obtain the real position of an object, a camera and so on... I think i have to use TruthWidget, but i didn't find nothing telling me about it (and one or two email saying it's not functioning in player 2.0.1) What I really need is the distance between a camera (model Monocular) and a sphere (SimpleSolid). How can I do this? Tnx Lucas Martins De Marchi ------------------------------ Lucas Martins De Marchi
