Hello,

I'm trying to get gazebo working with some hardware acceleration (it
currently works with the GLX context only). When I specify SGIX as
the renderMethod I get the following errors:

trying SGIX pbuffer rendering
unable to create SGIX pbuffer; no matching configs
error : camera initialization failed: no rendering context

I'm using a radeon Xi1400 graphics chip with the following library
versions (some are kind of bleeding edge but I have also tried this
with slightly older/stable versions as well)

* fglrx ati driver (8.26.18)
* xorg-x11 (7.0)
* Mesa (mesa-6.5.1_pre20060713)
* libdrm (2.0.2)

Now, I'm pretty sure this chip supports SGIX pbuffer since I'm able to
run the 'fgl_glxgears' example program and it reports that it is
"Using GLX_SGIX_pbuffer".

Has anyone gotten gazebo running recently with the newer fglrx ati
drivers and accelerated off-screen rendering?

Thanks,
Jon
