Hi,
This is just a post for people trying to run gazebo and are still having
problems with GLXUnsupportedPrivateRequest type errors. Although I had the
right drivers and went through all the mailing list, none of the suggestions
worked for me and I continued to get errors like:
rendering: [GLX offscreen] direct [no] RGBA [5 6 5 0] depth [16]
X Error of failed request: GLXUnsupportedPrivateRequest
Major opcode of failed request: 144 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 16 (X_GLXVendorPrivate)
Serial number of failed request: 35
Current serial number in output stream: 36
I managed to get both gazebo and wxgazebo working by commenting out the
following lines from the example.world file.
<model:SonyVID30>
<id>camera1</id>
<xyz>0 0 0.2</xyz>
</model:SonyVID30>
I'm not sure why this would work but it did. I hope this helps anyone still
struggling out there.
