Hi, Im new to player/stage. I seem to have installed player, and I can see that by
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/playerstage/stage-2.0.0a$ which player /usr/local/bin/player but when I try installing stage I get this error [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/playerstage/stage-2.0.3$ sudo ./configure . . . checking whether a program can dlopen itself... (cached) yes checking for dirname... yes checking for scandir... yes checking for basename... yes checking for pkg-config... yes checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes checking for GTK... configure: error: A suitable GTK+ was not found. GTK+-2.4 or later is required. Now I have libgtk 2.8.2-0 version that comes along with the dapper version of Ubuntu. I dont know why Im getting this error, is it because of some path problem? Also not that libgtk-dev is not installed, however, libgtk-common and others are. I cant install -dev due to some conflicting dependencies which my system cant seem to resolve ... Can someone help me, im stuck.
