Hi,
I'm seeing the same behaviour as you are. The following is a simple
fix that works for me.

I continue to face the same black screen problem. I removed everything
related to gazebo (including the .o, .so and the bin files) from the
/usr/local directories. There was nothing in /usr to remove. Got the latest
release of Gazebo (233) and installed it again but I am faced with the same
problem wherein my fltk window is completely black and I am not able to
close it and neither does Ctrl + C work.
The OGRE demos work with the Pbuffer and copy options but not with the FBO
option as the RTT Preferred Mode. I am repeating myself just in case this
info is of any significance. I have tried with the pioneer as well as
simpleshapes and other worlds.
Could somebody please help. I have been stuck on this for the past two
weeks.
