Hello, I am using Gazebo 0.7 as an environment for reinforcement learning. That means every simulation run is different to each other. To get significant data, I am looking for a way to start gazebo remote on several PCs via ssh. Right now, I can use the Console-mode server and it doesnt use any GUI. However, it cant be started remote - even with redirection to an X-server. Is it possible with the newer version? Or can you think of a better way to implement this?
This is the output when I start it from a ssh console (dont ask me why the version says its 0.6.1): /** Gazebo 0.6.1 ** * Part of the Player/Stage Project [http://playerstage.sourceforge.net]. * Copyright 2000-2005 Brian Gerkey, Richard Vaughan, Andrew Howard, * Nate Koenig and contributors. * Released under the GNU General Public License. using display [localhost:10.0] rendering: [GLX offscreen] direct [no] RGBA [8 8 8 0] depth [24] X Error of failed request: GLXBadContext Major opcode of failed request: 143 (GLX) Minor opcode of failed request: 5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent) Serial number of failed request: 16 Current serial number in output stream: 16/ Thank you, Ulrich ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
