Hi all, I have been working on putting together a deb package for gazebo. For Ubuntu given gazebos dependencies this is only available for karmic koala (9.10) which is still in development. The package may also work for debian unstable.
The source and binaries for the package are available from https://launchpad.net/~thjc/+archive/ppa At the moment it does not include player support as there is not a recent enough version of Player available in the ubuntu/debian repositories. The next step is to get a new version of player packaged up and then enable player support. If anyone is able to test the package that would be great...
