Our Client is Indonesia's leading life insurer, serving the public
in 65 cities throughout Indonesia and controlling almost 34 percent of
the market share for new premiums in the nation's life insurance
industry. They have a vast worldwide network, which traces its root
back many decades to insurance operations established in Asia where it
has since become the most dominant insurer. They are currently is
looking for:
Chief of Actuarial
The position will be Oversee and manage the actuarial function, develops
and implements improved actuarial procedures, and provides actuarial
advice for all products line.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Oversees all of actuarial function and necessary reports, such
as budget, government report, actuarial audit and others to the Board of
Director
2. Provide actuarial advices to Board of Director
3. Evaluate team members for their performance and devise
appropriate development strategies
4. Monitor different Function Heads to insure financial project are
on the track and be accomplished in timely manner
5. Work with investment team to ensure assets liabilities matching
for all product portfolio and to provide maximum returns with proper
underlying assets
Problem Challenges :
1. Attaining objectives of assigned works and projects (getting
premium) in a timely manner
2. Provide high quality actuarial items on time
3. Extensive number of projects which required intensive efforts to
create financial soundness
Specific Requirements: PAI (Persatuan Aktuaria Indonesia) Certification.
1. Demonstrate strong analytical skill in financial and actuarial
aspects.
2. Have ability to manage and organize assigned projects.
3. Have Working Experience generally 10 years and 8 years in Life
Insurance Industry.
4. Possess Bachelor's degree (S1) in accounting/statistic/math.
5. Possess Master's degree (S2) in Actuary will be advantage
6. Understand Life insurance Business
7. Proficiency in written & spoken English
8. International exposure will be an advantage
