I am a chronic user of Arch Linux ( 2009 ) and in 2021 after many efforts and with the help of a Polish friend Krzysztof I managed to install PLD Linux and still using it . For me poldek is like a wild horse as it needs very delicate knowledge of how to choose packages during installation or it will pull in loads of unwanted packages . Recently I am having this desire to do another fresh install of PLD Linux but not from a rescue CD but rather by a chroot either from Arch Linux or from my current PLD Linux , did some search through AI and I was given a method to install poldek on a new partition by downloading its packages and then building up system above it but the server links AI provided to me all give 404 error. I being the only user other than PLD own community do face difficulties in dealing with this distribution as it is not meant for everyone. Any ideas how to install PLD Linux from chroot would be appreciated . If desired I will paste the steps given to me by AI but which failed to work for me .
