# /etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart
causes dhcpd, radvd, htb and possibly other services to stop working. As for htb I've got my own script (but maybe there is an official location for it?) but problems with dhcpd and radvd could be solved distribution wise. Is there any mechanism that would allow specifying dependencies between services?
I have dhcpd on _many_ machines and it never stopped working after net restart. Also htb is working ok (I have my own script too). The only thing I must do after net restart is to reload my own routing rules as they are being messed up.
