With the kernel from AC, 2.6.8-4, prism54 driver is not listed in
modules.pcimap, and when modprobed, taints kernel and does not work, not
even a message in dmesg.
When I compile 2.6.8-4 with builder with the command
./builder -r auto-ac-kernel-2_6_8-4 kernel.spec
I get a kernel package with correct modules.pcimap, and
Loaded prism54 driver, version 1.2
PCI: Enabling device 0000:02:00.0 (0000 -> 0002)
ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:02:00.0[A] -> GSI 9 (level, low) -> IRQ 9
and the card works. Any ideas? It is a total mystery to me.
