bash-2.05b-17 > bash 3 on HEAD and (IIRC) bash 2 on AC-branch are patched with > bash-WCONTINUED.patch, which causes reverting to old behaviour if > WCONTINUED is not supported by kernel. And in general this patch helps. Only when I run the kernel with init=/bin/bash, bash hangs after the first command.
