Hello there,
I have been following the plex86 discussion now since last year or so -
never participated, but always interested.
I just installed Mandrake Linux 8.0 on my machine, and decided to test
Plex86. CVS connection, installed and compiled... all works fine. Kernel
installation went fine as well, after I added some more development tools.
But when I launch plex86 with ./plex86 -f ../conf/freedos however, I get
the following :
Processing command-line options
Opening VM (/dev/plex86)
Processing config file ../conf/freedos...
Allocating 4MB of physical memory in VM
Mapping virtualized physical memory into monitor
Zeroing virtualized physical memory
Mapping monitor print buffer into user mem.
bochs: ips = 1000000
unmapped_c::init: IGNORING unmapped ports
bochs: [cmos] Setting initial clock to: Wed May 2 13:33:07 2001
bochs: Opening image for device 0
bochs: bx_options.floppy_command_delay = 500
vga construct static
./plex86: error while loading shared libraries:
./plugins/bochs/plugin-bochs.so: undefined symbol: XOpenDisplay
Do I need special libraries - is there anything I am missing ? Or does it
just not work (yet) with Mandrake 8.0 ?
Thanks,
Al
