Plex86 must either corrupt memory in a sensible area or leave the processor in a bad state. Otherwise XFree86 would never know that it is supposed to crash after a plex run. And XFree is really the only program that compains (and which uses iopl()?). Using plex86 basically means "reboot the machine afterwards" for me as it is now. :-( m.
