This cannot be. (1) I don't see the connection between the delivery of
hardware interrupts and the location of the hardware emulation; (2) if the
PIC interrupts wouldn't be forwarded, then plex86 wouldn't work!! and as we
do see that testkernels that use PIT etc. work, apparently it does work...
